Is not to unite the country. It is to defend the Constitution of the United States and to do it by upholding it. The President needs to throw strong constitutionalist based nominees at the congress until they acquiesce.
It takes courage to do so and that is what we expect out of our elected officials, but what Americans are getting is cowardice.
I see that a lot lately. Our country is filling up with a bunch of lilly livered chicken squats that at the first sign of resistance bwak down in favor of their God compromise.
This I say to them............bwak bwak buk buk buk bwak bwak. You say you didn't understand that. That's probably because I do not speak very good chicken. Disgusting language anyway.

An unexpected outgrowth of the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta

And now a little on liter side.(water that is)
It is once again hurricane season and we have the first major one of the year bearing down on the gulf coast and already our area is recieving evacuees. All the hotels along I-75 as far north as W.R. are packed and turning people away. The sky is turning clowdy even though it is still several hundred miles from landfall in the pan-handle area of Florida.
I mowed my lawn today because I may not get a chance to mow it for a few more and even though it really isn't that high yet in another 3 days it would be a foot high, and the puny lawnmower I have will be struggling to get the job done(not to mention me).
You know how people up north are always saying "It's not the heat; it's the humidity, well not true. Here in Georgia it is both the heat and humidity that gets ya. If it ain't 96 it ain't hot here. And if it ain't humid it's still hot, and it is humid a lot here. The grass grows faster than weeds down here. Gotta mow twice a week as it is. I hear a lot of complaints about the grass growing so fast. And there is really no good time of day to mow, even at at 5 am it is still 72 sweat drenching and humid or at 5 pm it is 95 moist degrees.

I thought you wanted me back............Brother
Let me explain something to you people.......All who would read this. Like it or not believe it or not I AM A Sword. A weapon of war. My words cut and they cut deep. Right to the very depths of your inner beings. I feel no guilt in this. I keep this sword of mine sharp for it makes no sense to keep a dull sword around. My intent is to cut deep. My intent is to kill those stupid, unwise, foolish ideas that people have. My intent is to rid myself and others of their insanity contained in their compromised ideals and thoughts as expressed openly. I do not participate in open discourse for any other purpose.
Open discourse is not a game. It is a war. And he who has the sharper sword will always prevail.
If any wish to engage me-keep in mind the truth may set you free but it is also the very edge of my blade. Pray tell I only strike you with the flat of it for if I turn it edge on I will do so with all the fervrence of a crusader.
Also if you wish me to engage for you do not do so unless you have no other option for once I begin fighting for you I will do so mercilessly and you can have no reservations nor changing of minds because I will not stop once started. If you start me and do change your mind; once I have finished with your enemy, I will turn on you.
Your ideals will not survive. Need proof of this? Ask the Devil. I believe in only one way of war. Total annihilation

Darwin Award Winners 2005
Yes, it's that magical time of the year again when the Darwin Awards are bestowed, honoring the least evolved amongus. Here then, are the glorious winners.
1. When his 38-caliber revolver failed to fire at his intended victim during a hold-up in Long Beach, California, would-be robber James Elliot did something that can only inspire wonder. He peered down the barrel and tried the trigger again. This time it worked.....

Ja ever notice (way down there)
People are willing to give up there freedom for prosperity. Freedom is not prosperity and prosperity is not freedom however you cannot be prosperous without freedom so if you give up your freedom "thinking" it will guarantee your prosperity you will become poor ergo if a nation thinks that it can give up it's freedom and retain it's prosperity it will fail in both freedom and prosperity.

Back to the Supreme Court
So the President gets his first nominee to the highest "human" court in the land. I suppose I should say more but I have this mellow streak going for me right now (No I hate drugs) and there is not much for the gp to go on though I have had a few inklings of whom I would like to see. Some of my picks you would have to add toung in cheek to.
Potentially this would be a turning point for the U.S.. Forest Gump says it best' "that's all I have to say about that".
Soooo let me tell you what I have been up to lately. (Yes I do have other hobbies besides verbally blasting away at my decrepit country). I play a lot of PC games and I have discovered to my delight that there are sites that do mods on some of my slightly older but favorite games. These people are outstanding at their craft and this stuff is open and free. They do it for the love of the game. I find that is so refreshing in an age where if you ain't got a buck you ain't got nothing.
I also enjoy the distraction from the every day ho-hum run of the mill death-murder-kill stuff we get on the tube. The News media down here has an incredible fetish with violence. It just freaks me out so I try and immerse myself in something that makes a lot more sense (war) than the locals acting like a bunch of heathans.
I am not sure how I will react to the upcoming cataclysms but one thing for sure this stinking world deserves it.

A cube seen from different directions is still a cube.
If you say you are arguing facts you are committing to a statement which is in opposition with itself.

A fact is conclusive and permenent. There is no gaurentee that an argument will contain facts or be factual. If you are arguing facts or setting facts against one another in a contest to see which fact wins then you are saying that one fact wins and one fact a lie, which simply cannot be. Either it is a fact or it is not.
A cube with 6 different colors is seen by an idividual from one side seeing only green declaring it to be a green cube arguing with another who sees it from the red side and arguing that it is a red cube is still a cube but one of many colors and both combatants in the debate are at best only partially right. Which of course would be the weiners objective tieing his rightness to the victory.
This is what I see men doing today. Looking at a cube only from thier point of view. Apparently unable to or unwilling to change thier position at least long enough to see what the other sees and then investigating further so that they may discover that it is a cube of 6 sides with 6 different colors.
A person who is not a Christian and is unable to or unwilling to change his position long enough to see life from our perspective will never be able to take that walk around that cube and never be able to see it for what it is.
How does one see life from our perspective? Simple-say these words. Jesus save me, forgive me of my sins. And enter into life from a whole new perspective.

So the Supreme Court puts off the inevitable
The Supreme Court has dodged the idea that they will have to deface thier own building in it's recent ruling regarding displays containing religious content. Or have they? They still look hypocritacle and duplicitous to me.
Now just to make this perfectly clear, I am all 100% for public displays of Christianity. Just in case you thought I was arguing against the Ten commandments or any other chisled proclamation of God.
However My point is these men have just straddled a picket fence and as they try to walk down this pointy line they are going to find out that it is one inguinaly painful trip.
This is what it looks like they have said to me> This countries public buildings may display outside on their lawns religious displays but not inside their buildings, except for their own which they deem to be appropriate. That is strict hypocrisy in its simplest form.

One thing people are doing I have noticed is confusing memory with intellect. A person with a good memory may appear intelligent but when their cognitive abilities are tested the actual intellect comes clear. If a person with a good memory attemts to decieve others into thinking they are smart or if same individual is themselves confused by thier own belief that because they can remember minutiae that they must be smart when in fact a good memory does not equal intelligence (After all animals exhibit good memory and we all know that they are only as smart as animals). Not very smart. Though there are mamals which exhibit intellect(dolphins) they are mainly hampered by an inability to use tools or in the case of dolphins limited even though they probably have the intellect to do so. To the layman-They got no hands. Yet I digress.
A person with intellect also may have a poor memory and by outward appearences look moronic but when tested for the cognative using say an IQ test turn up a surprising 133 with a bent for seeing things from the macro versus the memory induced micro.

Prosperity is built on the truth
In order to flourish and prosper we must be able to see and do the truth by ourselves. If we cannot see and do the truth then we will make errors and in those errors we will not prosper. If we say we see the truth but do a lie we cannot prosper. For either we lied about seeing the truth and did a lie or in our deceptive behavior did a truth and lied about it engaging an old mathematical principle. A lie being a zero and the truth being a positive when multiplied together always equal a zero, and there is no way to escape this method. There is no way to add a lie to an equasion and make the equasion a positive; the whole thought becomes in that instant a zero.
In other words If you are telling the truth about something but want people to think something else and add a lie then what you are telling people in that instant becomes nothing. and if people follow that nothing they will always end up in the same place. Nowhere! And if there goal is prosperity measured in dollars and cents then they will end up broke.

Conundrums
If I win you win. If I lose you lose. Therefore in order for you to win you must defeat me however in your victory you lose.
What is it you lose? The world! Therefore I win. Why? Because I was right.
Therefore I urge you on to defeat me so that I can win.

The closely watched case involving New London, Conn., homeowners was one of six decisions issued Thursday as the court neared the end of its term. The justices are scheduled to release their final six rulings, including one on the constitutionality of Ten Commandments displays on public property, on Monday.
If the Supreme Court rules against the Ten Comandments then they will have to jackhammer the image of Moses holding the Ten Commandments off of the buildings potico. I hope they don't but in any case if Christians don't rise up in protest the gradient on this slide will just get worse.

Science
I think something is true but is it? Is knowledge thinking or is it knowing? Is there a difference between thinking and knowing? If there isn't a difference then why have two different words. If you say you think, are you saying you know or are you saying maybe? Are you telling me a little white lie just to make me feel better to include me in your thought or are you saying unequivocally it's a fact?
Do you people know the damage you are doing by saying you think when in fact you are saying you know. Do you know the damage that you do when you say you know when in fact you only think. Do you think that being apart of a group of people that say they know when they know they don't know, knowing that their associates also say they know knowing they don't know makes them apart of something that they know. I know this makes you who say you do know when you know that you don't know a group of people who don't know and hoping to deceive those who do know into believing that you do know.
So I should rename this one Thinking versus Knowing. Nope.
I think I know Why science. It is to think so we can know, not to think therefore we know. We know because we thought, but not all we thought led to what we know or what we think we know.
We don't know because we felt we know. We know because in every possible and unlimited way that we could think of what we know to be true always ends up the same. Then we know.
If we say we know but if every possible way that we think to test the truth is tried and one of the ways we think is not the same then we do not know.
If we say we know but we know that every test did not lead to the same then we are lieing.
If we tell others this lie and they being beguiled into thinking that what we say we know is known and so order their lives and fall into the unknown, then we have committed one of the most egregious crimes that man can perpetrate on another which can only be mollified by sequestering the liars from our selves so that we not be beguiled by such as they any more and hope that we are able to recover from the unknown to live in the known again.
Is it possible to know everything? Shall we put aside living our lives until we know that we know everything, or shall we live with what we know until we know more?
My answer for you can only be that I do not know. I can tell you what I think from what I know for you. I know that living in the truth cannot be for we live not by the truth but by the life that we have been given. Whether I know the truth and live by it or not is an aside for I live either way, that is the truth. That to live to make another's life better is the life that I live. To make another's life better makes my life better. If I am enriched for making another's life better is not important to me for you owe me nothing for me making your life better. To do otherwise would be to enslave you to me making me responsible for you and I will take no responsibility for you, your life, or you actions. Though I have the mind to empower me as such it is not my will to do so. I must be true to myself first. It is the bastion of all that I believe in as my behavior as a man. That if I free you from debt to me I will be the one who is free whether you are free or not. Neither do I indent you to me.
As for me I will live from what I know and that is this: There is too much that I do not know that transcends what I know and what other's know for me to know everything and therefore I know that if there is not something greater than mankind that knows then there is no reason to know anything and that I would be better off as an animal not knowing .
That it is better not knowing than to say that I know when I know that I do not know and to have been beguiled by those that say they know when they know that they don't know irritates me because I didn't know that they were saying that they knew but they didn't know, and I could have known.
It is bad for someone who says that they know when they know that they don't know to say to someone who knows that they know they don't know. Because the person who knows knows that he can no longer associate himself with the person who says he does know but doesn't because the knowledge that there is one more person who doesn't know decreases his chances of knowing more.
Sadly there are others that work for and wish for others to not know even hoping that others don't know so that they may enslave them with what they know.
It is a true gem to find out something new and to know. It is a greater gem to share what you know and have others discover the same.
